At Steel City Solar, someone local picks up the phone and is happy to answer any question or inquiry you may have. You’ll never get an answering machine or someone from out of state.
We have multiple vans that do nothing but service calls. Our average time to fix a problem is two days, not 2 weeks like the other guys. That’s because our main office is here in Pueblo.. We aren’t sending in crews from Idaho, Utah, or Denver!
We’re committed to serving our community and hire our award-winning team directly from the neighborhoods where we all live and work each day. Our electricians and installers are recruited and trained from schools right here at home.

We don’t just work and serve the community. The work we perform makes us a part of this community. We volunteer our time and energy because it’s the right thing to do and we have a great time doing it. Some of our recent community activities included:
- Sponsoring local MMA fights, our local hockey league, and charity golf tournaments.
- Volunteering our time to train Pueblo firefighters how to safely respond to residential and commercial property calls where solar arrays are present.
- Offering an electrical apprenticeship training program that now boasts ten apprentices.

Recent Ways Steel City was There for Pueblo
We’re proud to be a sponsor of Heads Up Hockey and our team, the Steel City Sun Devils. They’re committed to local youth and community activity and are a local hockey organization that runs a league during the summer in Pueblo, Colorado.
We recently had a great time with Heads Up Hockey and the Sun Devils where we let the team demonstrate how tough our solar panels were when we put one on the ice to shoot pucks at between the first and second game. They smacked a few clappers at our panels and they didn’t even leave a scratch! Great night!
You can enjoy great music and events at Bumperz and the Steel City Solar Stage. Last summer we hosted Jeremy Kitchen Live, providing a safe and socially distant way to celebrate summer. Bumperz is now GutterHouse but the Steel City Solar Stage remains. This summer look forward to an outstanding summer country lineup including Tracy Byrd, Jon Wolfe, and Uncle Kracker.
